What is the time period that a newly elected government can blame their predecessors for all of the problems of the country?
Six months, one year, two years, their whole first term?
I started to listen to The Treasurer announcing the report of The Commission of Audit.
He lost me when in his first couple of sentences he referred to the mess that the the preceding Government had left the country in. His offsider threw in a quip as well!
If Hockey wants to be the next 'worlds best treasurer' he had better start telling it like it is, and stop blaming the previous government for an agenda that he and his buddies have been planning for years.
It all comes down to credibility!
State what you want to do and do it without saying; "were only doing this because they made us"
Man up Joe.
Have a vision and be prepared to explain and enthuse the country, without playing the stupid political games!
